Autumn 2024 Newsletter

Welcome to this latest edition of our newsletter! We hope that you’ve had a good Summer.

While it’s been fairly quiet since the general election, we have a confirmed date for Chancellor Rachel Reeves’ first Budget – Wednesday 30th October. We’ll have our usual commentary and updates in due course so watch this space.

Scam Company Registry letters
We have received several scam letters purporting to be from “Company Registry”, many of which are targeting newly incorporated companies. The letters have been addressed to clients with their Registered Office held here at Hills & Peeks. If you are at all concerned about a letter, email or text message purporting to be from HMRC or Companies House please get in touch. A full list of the current scams reporting to be from Companies House can be seen on the Gov.uk website.

Finally, we are welcoming back Emma to the office following her Maternity Leave. She now has two boys to keep her hands full away from the office! Please be patient with her as she gets up to speed.

I hope you enjoy this newsletter.
